To create bee trail nails you will need:
- Blue nail varnish
- Black nail varnish
- White nail varnish
- Yellow nail varnish
- Green nail varnish
- Top coat
- Nail art tools / cocktail sticks
You can use any black, white, green, yellow, blue nail varnish to create bee trail nails. You can also create bee trail nails by using cocktails sticks so don't feel like you have to rush out and buy nail tools.
If you're interested in creating bee trail nails then all you have to do is follow my nice and easy steps.
1.) Apply the blue nail varnish (sky) to your nails. You may need to apply two coats depending on what your nail varnish is like.
2.) Once dry it's time to apply grass to your nails. Using the green nail varnish and a small tool, edge the tips of your little finger nail, ring finger nail, middle finger nail and index finger nail with the green nail varnish.
3.) It's time to add flowers to your nails. Using the white nail varnish, yellow nail varnish and dotting tools create two flowers on your middle finger and little finger. I created my flowers by dotting two yellow dots on each finger and then dotting six white dots around each of the yellow dots. If this sounds tricky just copy from the photograph.
4.) Now it's time to add the clouds. Using the white nail varnish and a large dotting tool, add a large cloud to your ring finger nail and also your index finger nail.
5.) Once dry it's time to add the bee trial. Using the black nail varnish and also a small dotting tool, apply a dotted trial across all of your finger nails.
As you can see, the trail stops half way on my thumb. The reason for this is so that there is enough room to create a bee.
6.) It's time to create our lovely bee! Using the yellow nail varnish and a large dotting tool, create a large yellow oval.
To create the bee wings all you need to do is dot two black dots either side of the yellow oval, you can do this by using the black nail varnish and also a dotting tool. I also added a small white dot in the centre of each wing, again this can be done by using the white nail varnish and a dotting tool.
To create the bee stripes all you have to do is use a thin tool and the black nail varnish. Carefully apply three stripes to the yellow oval.
Once your bee trail nails are dry apply a top coat. This will make your nails look super shiny and also help to keep your nail varnish on a lot longer.
