Wishlist: December 2012

I have never written a wishlist post before so I thought I'd have a go at writing one. I've seen so many things I need.. want this month so thought I'd show you what's on my december wishlist.

I know the majority of the things on my wishlist are from River Island so I'm sorry if you're not a fan of that shop but I've been really loving the River Island fashion this season. The clothes and accessories have been bang on trend and so super stylish, I have to say that River Island have done me proud this season and judging from the online preview of the S/S collection, they're going to do me proud next season too. 

One thing on my wishlist that I'm definitely going to be purchasing with my Christmas pennies is the studded shorts because I absolutely LOVE them. I love anything with studded or funky detail so when these popped up in the 'New In' section of River Island this morning, I knew I needed them in my life. They're going to look perfect with a plain t-shirt, a leather jacket and a pair of boots, I just hope they don't sell out because I will actually cry.

Another thing I'll probably end up purchasing is the boots because I've been searching for the perfect pair of studded heeled boots for a while. I wanted a pair that go with pretty much anything and I think these beauties fit the bill. My Missguided studded boots are super nice and I do love them but I find they don't go with everything because there's a lot of detail on them and I find they look odd when paired with certain clothes and patterns. The eBay boots aren't too plain or too detailed so I think they'll be perfect for wearing with anything, from leggings and trousers to dresses and skirts.

I also hope to buy some other things on my wishlist but whether my pennies will stretch that far is another question!

River Island Purchase

Last week I bought 2 little things off the River Island website, I bought a black maxi skirt and a pair of white sparkly sandals.

Today my River Island order arrived. I couldn't be more thrilled with the maxi skirt but unfortunately I'm going to have to send the sandals back as they are faulty, one of the sparkly gems has fallen off one of the sandals. Great. 

Luckily there are no problems with the maxi skirt, it's just a plain black maxi skirt with a slit on each side. At first I was weary about ordering it because I'm not really a maxi skirt type of girl but I'm so glad I did, it's uber stylish and it's ideal for summer!

The maxi skirt is available in black and beige and it retails at £20.00. You may think £20.00 is a lot for a plain black maxi skirt but believe me, it's definitely worth the price tag.

River Island Purchase

Last Friday I went shopping and noticed that River Island had some lovely spotty shorts. So I found my size, tried them on and thought they were amazing until I noticed that there were threads hanging off them. Obviously I wasn't going to buy them as they were faulty so I went to find another pair, unfortunately they didn't have another pair, so I left it and thought I'd have a look online.

I been waiting since Friday for the shorts to be available online and felt so happy to see them on the River Island website this morning. They are lovely shorts and are perfect for summer so I immediately bought them.

Here are my shorts...

These shorts are £26.99 and are available at River Island. They are high waisted shorts and the yellow belt is detachable. They are also a great length...YAY! No cheekage whatsoever :)

River Island Playsuit

Yesterday I noticed that River Island had updated their 'New In' section and I must say that I was very excited to see this!

I've bought a lot of clothes from River Island this year which is kinda unusual for me as I bought the majority of my clothes from Topshop and Miss Selfridge last year. River Island seem to be a lot more 'on trend' this year with regards to the wide range of palazzo trousers available and the fabulous beach wear and wedges!

Yesterday I stumbled across this beauty...

I knew I had to buy this as soon as I saw it! It's so summery and lovely and I think I'm going to pair this with a great pair of shoes! The playsuit is £34.99 and if you wish to buy it then here is the link; River Island

I have seen 2 pairs of shoes that I like that would go perfectly with this playsuit but I don't know which ones to buy.
