Sleek Truly Mattely Deeply Lipgloss in 'Jazz': Review, Photos & Swatches

I was so excited when I found out Sleek were launching the Shangri-La collection because it looked like such a fun and vibrant collection and I knew it was definitely my cup of tea. One thing I was most looking forward to trying was the Truly Mattely Deeply lipgloss in Jazz.
I loved the colour, I loved the packaging but did I love the product? If you want to know my thoughts on the Truly Mattely Deeply lipgloss in Jazz, keep on reading!

What Sleek have to say about their new Truly Mattely Deeply lipglosses...
"It’s the ultimate collaboration of beauty and fashion: Sleek MakeUP has teamed up with fashion house PPQ to create a limited edition collection based on a mutual love of colour, texture and vibrancy! The result is the Shangri-La collection. Inspired by classic Motown sound, the collection has a retro vibe channeling glamorous 60’s style! Limited edition Truly Mattely Deeply lipglosses provide a matte super long lasting creamy finish that’s smooth to the touch!"

How is 'Jazz' described as on the Sleek website?
"Jazz is a rich retro red, perfect for an instant fix of vintage glamour."

What are the product claims?
  • Matte finish
  • Long lasting
  • Creamy texture
Directions of use?

As stated on the side of the packaging, it is important that you apply a lipbalm to your lips before applying the Truly Mattely Deeply lipgloss. If you do not apply a lipbalm beforehand, you're going to be in a tricky situation.

How many different shades do the Truly Mattely Deeply lipglosses come in?

The Truly Mattely Deeply lipglosses come in two different shades; Jazz (bright red) and Soul (baby pink).

How much do the Truly Mattely Deeply lipglosses retail at? And where can they be purchased from?

The Truly Mattely Deeply lipglosses retail at £4.99 and they can be purchased in-store at Superdrug or online at www.sleekmakeup.com.

What does 'Jazz' look like?

Mmm.. sexy, dry, cracked lips.

Are the Truly Mattely Deeply lipglosses suitable for everyone?
Absolutely not. If you have soft and supple lips then you may like the lipglosses but if you have one ounce of dryness on your lips, you will HATE them.

The Good
  • There is nothing good about this lipgloss, it's absolutely appalling. If I could, I'd take it back and ask for a refund.

The Okay
  • Pigmentation - The lipgloss has good pigmentation and this is probably due to the bright colour of the lipgloss but what I don't understand is that you need to apply several layers of the lipgloss. If it was THAT pigmented, surely you'd only need to apply one layer?
The Bad
  • Longevity - The lip gloss lasts around 3 hours providing you do not eat, drink or speak. After one hour of wearing the lipgloss I noticed that a large chunk of it had peeled off my lips which is rather odd as I'm not one for fussing or faffing around with my lips. I cannot imagine that the lipgloss would last through eating and/or drinking, I'd imagine the lipgloss would come off completely, or failing that, your lips would possibly fall off.
  • Texture - I'm not exaggerating when I say this, this is possibly the worst lipgloss I have ever bought in my whole entire life. The lipgloss doesn't feel moisturising whatsoever and I'm seriously questioning if it has any moisture in it. I'm 100% certain there's just dust in the tube as that's what it feels like on your lips... dust. The texture of the lipgloss is so bad that on the side of the packaging they advise you to apply a lipbalm before applying the gloss. What lip product have you ever come across that tells you to apply lipbalm beforehand!?
  • Application - From the product description you'd except the lipgloss to glide on the lips with ease but that's not the case at all. The lipgloss goes on uneven and patchy and it certainly doesn't glide on the lips, if anything it feels like you're applying a pritt stick. Mmm.. nice.
  • Packaging - The packaging is so so, it's not great but it's not bad. The packaging contains a lovely mix of pastel shades and stripes but the lipgloss itself is bright red which doesn't make any sense to me. You'd imagine the packaging to be bold and bright not pastels and girly.
  • Applicator - I'm not a fan of doe-foot applicators as they don't give precise lines so the applicator doesn't really do it for me, I also think they're really un-hygenic. You also have to be very careful when applying the lipgloss because if you make one teeny tiny mistake, you're going to look as if you've been munching on a jar of beetroot. A face full of red is not a good look.
  • Price - Usually I'd consider £4.99 to be very reasonable for a lip product but due to the lipgloss being a pile of dog do do, I'd consider it to be a little pricey. I wouldn't pay 49p for it let alone £4.99! So overpriced it's untrue.
  • Availability - You can only buy the lipgloss in-store at Superdrug or online at Sleek. This isn't considered a great thing if your Superdrug isn't well stocked as you'll have to order online at Sleek meaning you're going to be paying a fortune for delivery.
  • Shade Selection - The lipglosses only come in 2 different shades which isn't great if you're not a fan of red or pink. The lipglosses have well and truly been targeted at those who like experimenting with colour or those who like wearing vibrant lipsticks. If you like more neutral shades then you're stumped.
Overall

I honestly hate these lipglosses with a passion, they're so unbelievably drying that they make you feel like you have chalk lips, they're not long wearing at all and most importantly they look so appalling on the lips that a stranger would think you had some form of mouth disease. I cannot express how bad these lipgosses are and if you were thinking of buying one, I'd save your money, time and energy.
These HAVE to go down as the worst lip product of 2012.

Would I recommend? NO!
Would I repurchase? NO!
Rating? 0/10

Thank you for reading and I hope this has saved you from wasting £4.99!

Sleek Blush By 3 Palette in 'Lace'

I have been after this palette for a long time after seeing it on display around 2 weeks ago. They haven't had 'Lace' in stock for a while but when I checked yesterday they had 2 left, so I bought them both. So I bet you're wondering why I purchased 2 of these lovely palettes and now I'm going to tell you why. I bought one for myself and one for my giveaway.

So without further ado, here is my review on the Sleek Blush By 3 'Lace' palette!

What do Sleek have to say about the Blush By 3 palettes?

"The Blush by '3' palette has been formulated with intense pigment, yet the shades can be layered, in order to achieve the required intensity."

"The Lace palette consists of 3 fully pigmented matte and shimmer blushers."

How would you describe the 'Lace' palette and where is it available?

As Sleek stated, the Lace palette consists of 2 matte blushers ('Crochet' & 'Chantilly') and one shimmer blusher ('Guipure'). 'Guipure' is a peach toned shade with gold shimmer, it reminds me of Nars 'Orgasm' blush except Guipure is a more of an orange peach whereas Orgasm is more of a pink peach. The other two matte shades within the palette are 'Crochet' and 'Chantilly'.  'Crochet' is an oranged toned red shade and 'Chantilly' is a bright orange shade. There is a nice mix of colours within the palette and I would definitely say that this is a palette for summer.
The Blush By 3 palettes also come with a large mirror. They're the perfect palettes for carrying around in your handbag and for taking on holiday.

The Sleek Blush By 3 palettes are currently available in-store at Superdrug but they'll only be available in Superdrug for a short period of time. I know that they'll also be available on the Sleek website very very soon so if your local Superdrug doesn't stock many of the Lace palettes, have no fear, they'll be available online.
There are five different Blush By 3 palettes available, these are 'Brown Sugar', 'Flame', 'Lace', 'Pumpkin' and 'Pink Spirit'. Each of the palettes contain both matte and shimmer blushes except from the 'Pink Spirit' palette which consists of all matte blushes. The Blush By 3 palettes retail at £9.99 which is amazing! Each blush works out to be around £3.33 and that is a bargain!

What does the 'Lace' palette look like?

Is the 'Lace' palette suitable for everyone?

I would recommend this palette to anyone as peach toned blushes tend to suit all skin tones.
I was scared of this palette at first because the blushes looked so bright and I feared that they wouldn't look right on my ghostly pale skin. However, these blushes look lovely! The trick is to use a light hand with them because they are very pigmented. 'Crochet' reminds me of Illamasqua 'Hussy' and I know that when I use 'Hussy' I have to use a light hand with that too.
The shades in the Lace palette are lovely and I can 100% guarantee that they'll look great on everyone, it just depends on if peach toned blushes are your cup of tea.

The Good
  • Pigmentation - The pigmentation of these blushes is amazing! I think the shimmer blushes are more pigmented than the matte blushes but this will be due to the high amount of shimmer within the blush. When swatching the blushes I only used one swipe so it just proves how pigmented they are.
  • Texture - The blushes have a soft, smooth texture and they aren't chalky at all. They also blend really well so you're able to either build the colour, or tone it down.
  • Application - The blush applies very well and I think this is due to the texture as the blushes are very soft and smooth. When applying the blush to your cheeks it's important that you use a light hand or you may end up looking like Aunt Sally.
  • Price -  The Blush By 3 palettes retail at £9.99 which is amazing considering the palette contains 3 high quality blushes. If you were to buy 3 Nars blushes it would cost £63.00, that is utter madness. So if you're wanting to buy a variety of blushes but don't want to sell your cat, dog and grandma in order to do so, check out the Sleek Blush By 3 palettes! Amazing quality, amazing shades, amazing price.
  • Size - The palette contains 20 grams meaning each blush will weigh approximately 6.66 grams. The standard blush contains around 6 grams of product so it's great how the blushes within the palette contain approximately 6.66 grams. I know for a fact that the standard Sleek blushes contain a lot more product but I guess you can't have everything! At the end of the day, 6.66 grams of product is a lot and I doubt I'll even get through one of these palettes.
  • Packaging - I like the packaging, it looks sleek.. see what I did there ;) I love the box the palette comes in as it's fun, quirky and matches the palette very well. I don't think I'd ever want to smash my blush but it looks funky on the packaging. I also think it's great that palette is small and compact as it's just the right size for carrying in your handbag and also your makeup bag, or in my case, make up mountain. I also love how the palette has a huge mirror too.

The Okay
  • Variety / Selection- I wouldn't say the variety of palettes is bad as I think there's a nice variety of palettes available, it's just that they may not be to everyones taste. The palettes look very bold and bright so I would imagine that people who prefer to wear pale, neutral blush will not like these palettes at all. If Sleek produced a palette designed for those who didn't like bold colours, they definitely will have hit the nail on the head.
  • Availability - The Blush By 3 palettes are only available in-store at Superdrug at the moment which could be an issue for some people as I know that the smaller Superdrug stores do not stock these palettes. I'm lucky enough to have 2 Superdrug stores by me but I know some people may struggle to find these lovely palettes. I guess the good thing is that they'll also be sold on the Sleek website very soon.

The Bad
  • The only concern I had with this palette is that I couldn't work out what shade was which as the names are displayed in the order they are in the palette but other than that, I don't have a bad word to say about this palette. It contains lovely summer shades, has amazing pigmentation and best of all, it's only £9.99! A big thumbs up to you Sleek, I will definitely be taking this little gem on holiday with me!

Have any of you tried the Sleek Blush By 3 palettes?

Sleek Pout Paints

Last week Sleek launched their new Pout Paints and I have to say that I was a little intrigued by them so I thought I'd buy a few of them to see what they're like.

The Sleek Pout Paints have the consistency of a lipgloss but they dry to the finish of a lipstick. They can also be mixed together to create, fun and unique colours.

Here's what Sleek say about the Pout Paints:
"Pout paint is the new ultimate lip pigment that provides a blast of colour in one purse sized tube! The intensely saturated formula provides outstanding colour pay-off in just one tiny speck, and dries to a long lasting satiny finish. With a wide variety of Pout Paints to choose from you can mix up your very own unique shade using a combination of colours, or simply go for one stand out striking pop of colour."

The Pout Paints are available in 11 different shades and they retail at £4.99 each. They can be purchased off the Sleek website or from your local Superdrug.

Here are the Pout Paints...

Top Row: Cloud 9, Minx, Milkshake, Peachy Keen, Lava, Pin Up.
Bottom Row: Peek A Bloo, Mauve Over, Rosette, Pinkini, Port.

I only purchased 3 of the Pout Paints as I wasn't really keen on the majority of the colours. The Pout Paints I ordered are 'Milkshake', 'Rosette' and 'Pin Up'.

Here's a little information about the pout paints I purchased:
'Milkshake' - A pale coral colour.
'Rosette' - A bright barbie pink colour.
'Pin Up' - A true red colour.

Here they are...

From left to right; Rosette, Milkshake, Pin Up.

Now it's time for the lovely swatches...

From left to right; Rosette, Milkshake, Pin Up.

I personally love 'Rosette' the best because the colour is beautiful! It's such a lovely pink and I think I'll definitely be taking it on my jolly holidays! Milkshake is also a nice colour too but I can't help but think it looks like 'foundation lips', hopefully it'll look a little better when I've got a tan. Pin Up is just a true red, it looks like every other red I own.

The Sleek Pout Paints are almost, if not 100% identical to the OCC Lip Tars. They have the same concept, the same intense pigmentation and the same consistency as OCC Lip Tars. The only difference between the two is the taste, the Sleek Pout Paints taste awful, they are superly bitter!

I noticed that the Sleek Pout Paints I ordered were similar to some of the OCC Lip Tars that I already owned. They're practically the same colour.

Sleek Pout Paint -vs- OCC Lip Tar...

From left to right; Pin Up -vs- Harlot, Milkshake -vs- Divine, Rosette -vs- Pageant.

Top Row (Sleek): Pin Up, Milkshake, Rosette.
Bottom Row (OCC): Harlot, Divine, Pageant.

I love both the OCC Lip Tars and the Sleek Pout Paints and I honestly cannot say that I prefer one than the other. The both have amazing pigmentation, great staying power and they both can mixed to create different, unique colours. All in all they are both great but the one and only thing I will say is that OCC Lip Tars have a better smell and they don't taste awful. Also, OCC Lip Tars are a little more expensive as they retail at £9.00.

So hear are my overall thoughts about the Sleek Pout Paints...

Pros:
  • The pigmentation is immense. They actually stain your skin! After swatching these beauties, I was left with a very colourful hand!
  • The colours of the Pout Paints are really intense. The colour pay off is amazing, the colour you get is the colour that you can see in the tube!
  • They are super long lasting. They literally last all day, even while eating and drinking.
  • You only need to use a tiny amount, a little definitely goes a long way! If you use too much of the product then things could get messy!
  • They are £4.99 which is a complete bargain!
  • They can be purchased off the Sleek website and also from Superdrug meaning they are easily accessible.
  • The packaging is great and I love how the applicator is really thin, it means you don't end up using a lot of product.
Cons
  • You need to use a lip liner with these because they do bleed. Attractive.
  • There are only 11 shades available which I think is pretty shoddy, surely Sleek could have released a lot more super duper colours?
  • I think it's a little naughty how Sleek have stolen the concept from OCC.
  • The Pout Paints taste awful. Probably the worst tasting lip product ever. Good job I only have to apply them on my lips and not it my mouth!
  • They also smell pretty vile. Worse than the Pout Polishes!
Overall I love the Sleek Pout Paints and I would recommend them to anyone! The shades are all quite vivid so they probably won't be to everyones taste but other than that they are fab and I highly suggest that you try at least one of them! :D

Sleek Oh So Special i-Divine Palette

The Sleek Oh So Special palette was released a couple of weeks ago and I think it's a Limited Edition palette. I had seen on Twitter that a lot of people had bought this palette so I thought I ought to check it out (pardon the rhyming, non intentional of course!) Once I saw the palette I knew I had to buy it, it's such a lovely palette and the packaging drew me in straight away!

The Sleek Oh So Special palette consists of 12 eyeshadows, the eyeshadows vary as some are matte and some are frost eyeshadows. I'd say that the majority of the eyeshadows in the palette were matte which is good for those who prefer matte eyeshadows. The palette also retails at £6.49 meaning each eyeshadow is worth around 54p!

Here's the Sleek Oh So Special i-Divine palette...

I love the design of this packaging, it's girlie, swirly and a little bit special! It's the nicest Sleek packaging that I've ever seen.

The one thing I don't like about this palette is that the palette name isn't written on the front of the palette. I think the newer palettes are better due the palette name being written on the front.

I love how this palette includes coral/pink toned eyeshadows and also brown toned eyeshadows. You could create many lovely looks using this palette, from neutral to dark and smokey.

I also think it's great how the eyeshadows have names. It makes life much easier when referring back to the palette in future makeup tutorials. I think the names also give the eyeshadows a bit more character.

Here are the lovely swatches...

Row 1:
From left to right; Bow, Organza, Ribbon, Gift Basket, Glitz, Celebrate.

Row 2:
From left to right; Pamper, Gateau, The Mail, Boxed, Wrapped Up, Noir.

The Oh So Special palette is gorgeous, it contains a nice variety of eyeshadows and I think pretty much anyone would like this palette.

I think that the pigmentation of the eyeshadows is immense, they are so so pigmented and you only have to use a tiny bit! The matte eyeshadows are also very pigmented and to be honest, I didn't expect them to be. If I compared the Sleek matte eyeshadows to MAC matte eyeshadows then I'd have to say that the Sleek eyeshadows were far more pigmented and also better quality.

I also find that the matte eyeshadows aren't chalky or powdery whatsoever meaning little fall out will occur when applying them to the eyelid.

Sleek Curacao i-Divine Palette

The Sleek Curacao i-Divine palette is part of the new Sleek Caribbean collection. The Sleek Caribbean collection includes 'Aruba' blush, 'Bonaire' pout polish and of course the infamous 'Curacao' palette. The Curacao palette is probably the brightest, most fun palette that I've ever come across and to be honest, I think I'll be a bit scared about wearing half of the eyeshadows, they're insanely bright!

The Sleek Curacao i-Divine palette consists of 12 brightly coloured eyeshadows. The eyeshadows either have a matte or a frost texture which is good for those who like wearing different textured eyeshadows. The palette retails at £6.49, meaning each eyeshadow is worth around 54p! How brill is that!

If you're a little colour shy then I'd say that this palette probably isn't for you as the eyeshadows are very very bright. If you're looking for something more neutral then I'd suggest buying the Sleek Storm i-Divine palette instead.

Here's the Sleek Curacao i-Divine palette...

I absolutely love the packaging, there is definitely a 'Caribbean' theme going on. I think the use of colours also fits in well with the colourful eyeshadows.

I think it's good how the palette name is written on the front of the palette as it's handy for those who do not keep the boxes. If you're looking for a specific Sleek palette then you'll know which one you want by looking at the palette. I know some of the Sleek palettes do not have the palette name written on them which is really quite silly.

I think it's great how the eyeshadows all have names. It makes life a whole lot easier when referring back to the palette in future makeup tutorials. I think names give the eyeshadows a bit more character if that makes sense!

It's time for the lovely swatches!...

Row 1:
From left to right; Tequila Sunrise, Martini, Blue Hawaiian, Bloody Mary, Screwdriver, Green Iguana.

Row 2:
From left to right; Apres Midori, Blue Lagoon, Purple Haze, Green Martini, Singapore Sling, Espresso Martini.

Overall I think that the eyeshadows have amazing pigmentation and colour intensity, I cannot believe how vibrant they are! I think the matte eyeshadows are less pigmented than the frost eyeshadows but that can be expected with matte eyeshadows. I find that the Sleek eyeshadows last all day, they do not fade, crease or melt away, they stay put until removed with eye makeup remover.

The eyeshadows aren't powdery or chalky meaning that they will apply well. The frost eyeshadows have a creamy texture too meaning little or no fall out will occur when applying the eyeshadows to the eyelid.

This is a great palette, not only does it contain a variety of eyeshadows, it's also perfect for summer. You could easily create fun, summer looks using this palette and I cannot wait to create some of my own makeup looks using the Curacao palette.

The Sleek palettes are great value for money and I think you should try at least one of the Sleek palettes, you really wouldn't be disappointed!

Sleek Monaco i-Divine Palette Update!

As you all know, I received my Sleek Monaco i-Divine palette yesterday. I was so impressed by the colour selection and thought it was great how the palette contained a mixture of matte and shimmer eyeshadows. I've never tried a Sleek matte eyeshadow so I wasn't sure if they were going to be great or a disappointment.

After swatching the palette I noticed that the 'Bamboo' eyeshadow had pretty poor quality. No matter how much of the eyeshadow I used, it just wouldn't swatch, you couldn't clearly see it on my hand. In the pan it looked like a lovely beige colour but on skin it just didn't show up. If you'd like to see swatches of the palette then click on this link; Sleek Monaco i-Divine Palette

I used the Monaco i-Divine palette today and I have to say that I'm pretty impressed with the eyeshadows. I didn't expect the matte eyeshadows to be any good, probably because the 'Bamboo' eyeshadow had give me negative thoughts about the rest of the matte eyeshadows. Luckily, I found the matte eyeshadows to be fab. I used 'Summer Breeze' which is a lovely duck egg blue colour and also 'Bamboo' which is a beige colour.

I think 'Summer Breeze' is such a lovely colour, it's perfect for summer and I think it'd look lovely on it's own or paired with other bright eyeshadows. I found that the pigmentation of this eyeshadow is excellent, I didn't have to use much at all and the colour intensity of this eyeshadow is phenomenal. I also found that it blended well with other eyeshadows and it really did last all day long. To give you an indication, I had been dancing for at least an hour and my makeup looked no different afterwards.

'Bamboo' did show up better on my eyelids than it did on my hand but I would say that this eyeshadow could only be used as a base for other eyeshadows. It would probably look fab on those of you who have a dark skin tone but on me it just looked a bit naff.

The application of both eyeshadows is great, they go on smooth and I experienced little, if no, fall out. Some of the eyeshadows can be quite chalky but I personally don't find this a problem, yes I may have to clean my palette every 5 seconds but at least I don't have to wipe away any fall out.

Overall I like the Sleek Monaco i-Divine palette and the matte eyeshadows are on par with high end matte eyeshadows. I think 'Bamboo' could be improved but I can't complain, the whole palette was only £7.00!

Sleek Monaco i-Divine Palette

After waiting patiently for a week, I finally received my Sleek Monaco i-Divine palette. I was so excited when Sleek launched the Mediterranean collection and I especially couldn't wait to get my hands on the Monaco i-Divine palette. I didn't buy the Santorini blush or the Monti Carlo pout polish as I thought the blush was a little too bright for my liking and I'm also more of a lipstick girl than a gloss girl.

My first impressions of the Monaco palette were 'wow', the colours are unbelievably gorgeous. The palette consists of mostly matte eyeshadows with the exception of a few shimmer eyeshadows. I don't think I've ever used a Sleek matte eyeshadow so it'll be interesting to see how they compare to my other matte eyeshadows.

I really love the Monaco i-Divine packaging, it looks nice and fits in well with the collection. It really does remind you of summer which is a good thing.
I think the packaging is definitely a positive thing, it's just a shame Sleek didn't create funky packaging when the brand first launched. I personally find it more appealing and I think the majority of people would be more inclined to buy it.

I also love how the collection name is printed on the front of the palette, this will be so much easier when browsing through my Sleek palettes.

The eyeshadows have names, I prefer it when eyeshadows have names rather than numbers as it gives the eyeshadows a little more character.

Top Row: From left to right: Bamboo, Aquamarine, Midnight, Garden, Sunset, Washed Ashore, Magenta Madness.
Bottom Row: From left to right: Summer Breeze, Sand Stalker, Kiwi Zest, Lotus Flower, Humming Bird, Moors Treasure.

Row 1: From left to right: Bamboo, Aquamarine, Midnight Garden.
Row 2: From left to right: Sunset, Washed Ashore, Magenta Madness.

Row 1: From left to right: Summer Breeze, Sand Stalker, Kiwi Zest.
Row 2: From left to right: Lotus Flower, Humming Bird, Moors Treasure.

So far so good, I'm particularly impressed with 'Kiwi Zest', 'Lotus Flower' and 'Humming Bird' as they seem to have the greatest pigmentation. The only eyeshadow I'd say wasn't too great was 'Bamboo', no matter how many swipes I did, this would not swatch at all, hopefully it'll be a different story when applying it to my eyes.

I cannot fully review this palette yet as I haven't used it but since I received it today, I thought I'd do some swatches for you all. I'm going to use this palette tomorrow and I'll be testing the matte eyeshadows and also the troublesome 'Bamboo'. I shall do a Sleek update post tomorrow so keep a look out!

Sleek Original i-Divine Palette

So if you haven't guessed already, I'm going to be reviewing the Sleek Original i-Divine palette. This palette contains 12 eyeshadows and it's such a nice palette because it contains a wide variety of colours, from neutral beige to bright turquoise. I'd say that this palette has half neutral eyeshadows and half brightly coloured eyeshadows, a great palette if you're the sort of person that likes both! If you're a little colour shy then I probably wouldn't suggest for you to buy this as you'd probably be better buying the Sleek Storm i-Divine palette.

Here's the packaging for the Sleek Original i-Divine palette...

Here's the front of the palette...

Inside the palette...

Swatches of Row 1...

From left to right; Matte Black, Lilac, Navy, Bight Blue, Turqoise, Green

Swatches of Row 2...

From left to right; Light Beige, Light Pink, Light Cranberry, Copper, Dark Bronze, Golden Olive.

Please note that these are not the actual names of the eyeshadows. The palette did not come with a list of the eyeshadow names so I made my own names for them. My Sleek Bad Girl i-Divine palette came with a list of the eyeshadow names so I don't really understand why this palette didn't. It's probably because the Sleek Bad Girl i-Divine palette is a lot newer than the Sleek Original i-Divine palette.

I really do love this palette though! The eyeshadows are extremely pigmented, very blend-able and best of all, this palette is £6.49! All of the eyeshadows have a Shimmer finish too which is great because I prefer a Shimmer finish to a Matte finish. This palette is definitely going to be useful for creating bright make-up looks and I also think it would be good for creative purposes.

You can buy this palette from; Sleek

I also here that Sleek are bringing out new products in June so I can't wait to try those! Once I find out more information about those, I'll do a post on them! :)

Thanks for reading lovely people!

Sleek True Colour Lipsticks

As you all may know, I went shopping yesterday and bought lots of little goodies, including three Sleek True Colour Lipsticks. The colours I bought were 'Candy Cane', 'Fuchsia' and 'Baby Doll'. These three colours stood out to me the most so that's why I bought them, and also the fact that I generally just liked them! I know that Sleek also do a lot of red/dark coloured True Colour lipsticks but they really aren't my cup of tea so I'll just stick with what I know I like.
The Sleek True Colour lipsticks are on offer at Superdrug, you get two Sleek True Colour lipsticks for £5.99! They are usually £3.99 each so go and grab some while you can! :)

Here's the packaging of the lipsticks...

Here are the lipsticks themselves...

Here's 'Candy Cane'...

Candy Cane is such a lovely colour, it looks quite red here but I would say that it's a mix of bright pink, coral and red, it's probably the most unique colour out of all the Sleek True Colour lipsticks. It's also a Sheen lipstick, so it's great for those of you who have dry lips!

Here's 'Fuchsia'...

Fuchsia is a hot pink colour and to be honest I prefer this colour more than Amped. Both Fuchsia and Amped are the only bright pink lipsticks in the True Colour lipstick collection. If you haven't seen my other post about Sleek lipsticks then have a look, you'll see swatches of Amped. I don't dislike Amped, it's just that Fuchsia suits me more. Fuchsia is also a Sheen lipstick, so it doesn't feel drying at all.

Here's 'Baby Doll'...

Baby Doll is a really pale pink colour and it's probably the palest lipstick in the True Colour collection. I love this lipstick because it's one of the lipsticks you can wear with any make-up look. I've had days where I couldn't find the right lipstick but I really do think that this lipstick would suit any look. I also wouldn't recommend this to anyone who has a darker skin tone, I'm extremely pale so I can get away with wearing uber pale lipsticks. Baby Doll is also a Sheen lipstick.

I'm so impressed by Sleek at the moment and I really do love their Sleek True Colour lipsticks. They are so pigmented and they take a while to wear off, I'd say around 6 - 8 hours. I've also noticed that they do not feather or bleed which means I don't have to apply lip liner either! I think the price of these is amazing too, £3.99 is an awesome price for a lipstick!

So what lipsticks are you all into at the moment?
:)
