October Favourites

So as you probably may have guessed by the title, I'm going to be showing you all my October favourites.

Couture Couture by Juicy Couture - £49.50The Perfume Shop

This perfume has such a unique scent, it's strong, sweet and has a hint of tanginess. It's the perfect scent for the Autumn/Winter months and it really does last all day.

 No 7 Cleanse & Care Eye Make-up Remover - £7.75Boots

I initially switched to the No7 eye makeup remover because I found that Clarins was getting a little too expensive for my liking. I was a bit dubious about trying the No7 eye makeup remover at first because I hadn't read any reviews on it but I'm so glad I bit the bullet and decided to try it because now I LOVE it. It's just as good as the Clarins, if not better! The good thing with the No7 eye makeup remover is that you can mix it with water meaning one bottle is going to last for a long period time. I think it's great how it comes with a pump too because it means you won't waste a lot of the product.

Illasmasqua Skin Base Foundation in '06' - £25.00Illamasqua

This is such a beautiful foundation and it's the best foundation that I've ever owned. It leaves skin looking flawless and it has a lovely light texture that covers any form of imperfection. Another pro to this foundation is its longevity, it lasts all day without fading or sliding off the skin.
The Illamasqua skin base foundation is available in 18 different shades meaning there is a shade for everyone. The Illamasqua skin base foundation can be purchased from any Illamasqua counter or from ASOS which is great if you're a student as you'll get 10% off!
The only downfall is the price tag as it may seem a little expensive but you only have to use a tiny amount. To give you all an indication, the amount I have on my hand in the swatch photo is enough to cover a full face.

MAC Lipstick in 'Mlle' - £13.50 - Discountined

This is the perfect lipstick for wearing everyday, it's a lovely neutral colour and it goes with pretty much any look. It's ideal for wearing with a dramatic smokey eye.
Even though it's a glaze lipstick it really does last for a long time meaning it's great for those who have a busy lifestyle.
When applying this lipstick I apply one coat, blot on a piece of tissue, then I apply a second coat. I find that this process needs to be done with MAC glaze lipsticks.

MAC Eyeshadow in 'Short Shorts' - £11.50 - Discontinued

This eyeshadow is ideal for using on the browbone as it adds subtle shimmer to any look. It's also a great eyeshadow for toning down dark eyeshadows.

MAC Eyeshadow in 'Groundcover' - £11.50 - Discontinued

I got this eyeshadow for my birthday but I hadn't really used it until now. It's great for creating an everyday smokey eye because it gives subtle smokiness without being too dramatic.

Urban Decay Eyeshadow in 'Darkhorse' - £35.00 (Full palette price) - Debenhams

I absolutely love the Urban Decay Naked Palette but I especially adore the 'Darkhorse' eyeshadow. It's the perfect 'eyebrow' colour and it great for using when creating a brown smokey look.

Hakuhodo Eyeliner Brush - £5.00 - Hakuhodo

I own a few eyeliner brushes and this is by far the best eyeliner brush ever. It has a very thin tip meaning it gives such a precise line, and it's also great for creating a winged effect. The best thing about this brush is that it was only £5.00!
The only criticism is that you can only buy Hakuhodo brushes online, and with it being an American company you have to pay high shipping costs, approx. £30.00 so as you can imagine it's not worth spending £30.00 on shipping for the sake of a £5.00 brush.
