Timothy Roe 'Kissing Hearts' Spinning Ring: Review & Photos

Timothy Roe stock a large selection of jewellery including Spinning Rings, Lovelinks, Bjorg Jewellery, Timothy Roe Fine Jewellery and many more. There are plenty of beautiful pieces to choose from and I can guarantee that there is something for everyone. No matter if you like sparkle, shine or something a little plainer, there will be something for you.

Not long ago Alan from Timothy Roe Jewellery kindly offered to send me one of their finest pieces of jewellery. Alan gave me the option of choosing a pair of earrings or a spinning ring, as I have about a million pairs of earrings I decided to choose one of the spinning rings. I chose the 'Kissing Hearts' spinning ring, a plain silver ring with 3D hearts.

How is the 'Kissing Hearts' spinning ring described online?

Kissing Hearts Spinning Ring, Sterling Silver: 139-06 “Kissing Hearts” Spinning Ring, Sterling Silver, CZ.  Can be worn on its own or stacked with others to make a unique combination.

So what does the 'Kissing Hearts' spinning ring look like?

How many sizes is the 'Kissing Hearts' spinning ring available in?

The ring is available in four different sizes; XS, S, M and L. All of the spinning rings are available in these four sizes.

How much does the 'Kissing Hearts' spinning ring retail at?

The spinning rings retail between £19.00 and £49.00 but this particular ring retails at £19.00.

Where can you buy the 'Kissing Hearts' spinning ring?

The 'Kissing Hearts' spinning ring can be purchased online at Timothy Roe

Are there any other spinning rings available?

Yes there are 'Birthstone' spinning rings, 'Ring Max' spinning rings and 'Primo' spinning rings. The Birthstone spinning rings retail at £49.00, the Ring Max spinning rings retail at £35.00 and the Primo spinning rings retail at £19.00.

To give you an idea of the other spinning rings Timothy Roe have to offer, here are a few of the Ring Max spinning rings.

"Couple" Spinning Ring

"Magic Hearts" CZ Spinning Ring

"Hearts Forever" Spinning Ring

These three rings are utterly beautiful and I'm sure the majority of you will agree with me.

What I like...
  • Quality - The quality of the ring is outstanding and I think it's great how the ring is made from sterling silver, I honestly cannot believe that this ring only retails for £19.00. Looking at the ring you'd expect it to retail for around £50, if not more. The ring is super shiny, the gems are super sparkly and it feels very sturdy. Another great thing about the ring is that it doesn't leave you with green fingers either. If you were thinking about buying similar stacking rings from the high street then please think again and spend a little extra on a Timothy Roe spinning ring.
  • Lightweight - Despite the ring being made from sterling silver, it feels very lightweight. The ring feels so delicate and dainty on your finger.
  • Packaging - The ring is displayed in an elegant purple box which is lined with co-ordinating purple satin. The Timothy Roe logo is also displayed on the box lid. I think the packaging is absolutely lovely and I genuinely think other jewellery companies should take note. It's refreshing to see nicely packaged jewellery.
  • Price - This particular ring retails at £19.00 and I think this is a VERY reasonable price. It's a lovely well made ring and in my opinion, it's worth a lot more than £19.00. The spinning rings retail between £19.00 and £49.00 which is excellent. So lovely yet so affordable.
  • Flexibility - I love how the spinning rings can be worn alone or can be stacked with other spinning rings. I would also wear the ring with plain band rings just to show off the red sparkly heart contained within this particular spinning ring.
  • Variety - To be precise, Timothy Roe stock 53 different spinning rings, that is a whopping selection to choose from!

What I dislike...
  • Size Option - I really wish that the spinning rings were available in proper ring sizes as opposed to XS, S, M and L. For reference I always buy XS rings from Miss Selfridge and they fit perfectly so on the basis of this, I opted for a size XS on Timothy Roe. I found the Timothy Roe XS to be a lot larger than the Miss Selfridge XS which makes me think that the rings come up a little larger on Timothy Roe. In order for me to the wear the ring without fearing it will fall off I have to wear it on my pointer finger, a finger I would never wear a ring on. If the ring was available in proper ring sizes I would not have this issue and would be able to wear the ring on the correct finger. By 'proper' I mean proper sizes like 'K', 'L', 'M' and so on.
Overall...

Despite the ring being too big, I think it's a beautiful ring and it's definitely something I'd wear on a daily basis. The ring is appealing to the eye as it's both shiny and sparkly, and it's also a very feminine, delicate ring, these attributes will appeal to the majority of people.
The spinning rings would make lovely gifts for friends and family as they look more expensive than they actually are. So if you're ever in the position where you want to buy something that looks fancy but doesn't cost an arm and a leg, check out Timothy Roe's finest spinning rings.

My experience with Timothy Roe has been brilliant and I'm so grateful that I was given the opportunity to review one the beautiful spinning rings. I now know of a lovely jewellery company and I'll recommend the company to my friends and family.

Would I recommend? YES, YES, YES! A great quality ring with an amazing price tag!
Would I purchase myself? Yes, I would purchase many of the spinning rings!
Rating? 10/10. It's an utterly beautiful ring.

Have you heard of Timothy Roe before? And more importantly will you be checking out the lovely pieces of jewellery they have to offer?
:)

*The Timothy Roe 'Kissing Hearts' spinning ring was sent to me for review purposes. This does not effect my thoughts and opinions on the products. As always, my reviews are 100% truthful.

Outfit Of The Day: Tribal Skirt & Devil Shoes

You're probably all wondering why I titled this OOTD 'Tribal Skirt & Devil Shoes' but it will all make sense if you read my waffle at the end of this post.

It's been a glorious day today so I thought I'd make the most of it and wear some of my lovely summery clothes. I have a wardrobe full of unworn summer clothes so I'm trying to wear them whenever I get the chance to. I heard on the grapevine that the nice weather ends on Friday (my 21st birthday *cries*) so I'm going to try and wear some of my summer clothes this week!

Anyway, enough the summer clothes tale, here's what I wore today!

Denim Jacket: Topshop, Sheer Top: Topshop, Crop Top: Topshop,
Maxi Skirt: River Island, Ballet Pumps: Primark, Necklace: Forever 21

I have been wanting to wear this skirt for a while but because it's literally rained non stop since April, I've not been able to. A skirt in puddle situation would not be sexy at all.
When I saw that it was cracking the flags this morning I jumped at the chance and popped the skirt on. It's a lovely maxi skirt but I can't help but think I look like a tribal warrior when wearing it. The skirt has a split at either side so if I spread my legs apart I look like something from Zorro. Despite the 'Zorroness' it's a nice skirt and it's perfect for wearing in the hot weather as it's nice and breezy.

Also, as you all know, I love mint green and I especially love my mint green ballet pumps as they're such an amazing colour but the one thing I don't like about them is that they feel awful, I wouldn't be surprised if they were made by the devil. No matter how much you try and 'break them in', it will just not happen. They are the most uncomfortable shoes ever and they leave you with massive blisters... attractive. The only reason why I put them on is because they matched my top and necklace so well. In future I'll be wearing them when I'm only going to be out the house for half an hour.

I really liked this outfit and this is mainly due to the mint greeness, however, I slightly regret wearing a sheer top over my crop top as I've been boiling all day. In hindsight I should have left the denim jacket and sheer top at home.

Have you made the most of todays glorious weather?

New Bits & Pieces!

As I've said in the past, I never blog about the new items I put in my shop as I don't feel like I should do. My blog is based around reviews, tutorials, favourites etc so I don't feel like I should include anything different (although I'm pretty sure you all wouldn't mind seeing something different). Anyway, today I thought I'd show you some of the new items I've added to my shop.

Stretch Bow Ring - £3.00
Stretch Wing Ring - £3.00
Stretch Pastel Heart Ring - £3.00
Spike Hoop Earrings - £2.50

All of the above items are currently in stock but I only have a limited amount of each of them. If you're interested in buying any of the above items please visit my shop or alternatively, you can click the 'My Shop' tab on my blog!

Are you into stretchy rings or spikes? Or are you into something different?

Top 5 Jewellery Picks For Summer

If you watch my Youtube videos then you'll know that I have recently bought a lot of summer jewellery (of which I've included in my hauls) so I thought I'd do a 'Top 5 Jewellery Picks For Summer' post. It's nice to show you all what jewellery I like and what jewellery I'll be wearing in the summer months. I also thought about doing this kind of post for summer shoes and clothes too so if that's something you'd be interested in then do let me know.
In this post I have included a mix of jewellery just to give you an idea of what shades and styles I like.

So without further ado, here are my Top 5 Jewellery Picks For Summer!

Pastel Stone Bracelet - £6.50 - Miss Selfridge

There's no denying that shamballa style bracelets are a popular amongst a lot of people, they're available left, right and centre. Plenty of high street stores are selling these types of bracelets at the moment and they're even being sold on eBay for dirt cheap prices (I'm literally talking 1p!). The bracelets are available in many different colours and styles, ranging from black with silver beads to white with multi-coloured beads.
I love shamballa style bracelets and I especially love this one because it contains such pretty colours, I especially like the iridescent beads as they shine different colours! This little bracelet will look lovely with a tan so it's definitely being taken on my jolly holidays!

Pastel Feather Spike Drops Earrings - £8.50 - Topshop

Feathers, spikes and pastel shades...the perfect combination. I absolutely love these earrings even though they are a bit 'out there'. The pastel shades are perfect for summer and I like the clash of feathers and spikes, two things you probably would never put together. The feathers and beads add a touch of girliness and the spikes give off that 'grungy' vibe, they're also very on trend too.
I would never wear a necklace when wearing these earrings as I think it would look a little OTT, the earrings are so big that they look fine on their own. The earrings would look great with a plain maxi dress or a plain t-shirt.

Bobble Multi Stack Rings - £8.50 - Topshop

I like stackable rings as they can be worn together or separately. I own so many sets of stackable rings that I find myself mixing and matching them. Topshop and Miss Selfridge currently have a few sets of stackable rings so If like myself you love them, check out those two stores. Miss Selfridge has a lovely set of stretch stack rings and I think these will be my next jewellery purchase!
I love the bobble stack rings as they're fun and very vibrant, they look amazing worn together and I also think just one of the coloured rings would look nice with a couple of plain band rings.

Neon Ombre Snake Chain Necklace - £8.00 - Accessorize

You'd have to live in a cave or under a rock to not know that neon is massive this summer. One shop that has incorporated a lot of neon into their summer collection is Zara. They've included in their summer collection, a bright neon floral bomber jacket, a neon coral zipper jacket (proud owner of this), a neon tribal print t-shirt and they've recently started to stock neon yellow heels.
I love neon as it's bright, bold and eye catching and I especially love neon jewellery as it can jazz up a simple outfit. I wore this necklace with a plain white t-shirt, jeans and white converse and it looked amazing because the outfit was so simple that it made the necklace stand out.

Silver Spike Necklace - £13.00 - River Island

Statement necklaces appear to be very popular this S/S, we've seen them on the catwalk and we've seen them on the high street. Primark and H&M have some nice statement necklaces at the moment so if you're looking for a purse friendly statement necklace, check out those two stores (H&M also have a 50% sale too!)
Statement necklaces are great for wearing with high neck tops, t-shirts and dresses. They can turn a plain outfit into something very special. I recently ordered a black peplum top and think this statement necklace would look amazing with it.

So those are my Top 5 Jewellery Picks For Summer and I hope that you like them! If you have any questions about any of the jewellery mentioned, please feel free to ask below.

What are your favourite jewellery pieces for summer?

Ring, Ring.... Hello?!

I haven't written a jewellery post in a while so today I thought I'd share some of the lovely items that I'm going to be selling in my shop. All new items are rings as my shop needed a few more rings in its life! But I'm going to be selling new bracelets and necklaces very shortly.

I also have a new ring that is ideal for the Christmas period and I only have 3 available so if you want one, grab it while you can! I only made 3 as I wanted to see how many of you lovely people were interested in it.

So without further ado, here are my new rings...

Peacock Print Ring - £2.25

Rose & Pearl Ring - £2.25

Owl Ring - £2.25

Bird Ring - £2.25

Gold Double Finger Cross Ring - £3.25

Christmas Pudding Ring - £4.25

I also have a burger and chips ring to show you but the photograph was incredibly blurry so I'm going to have to take another photograph tomorrow. I would have re-taken one today but my camera kindly died so I had to wait for it to charge by which time it was dark outside so I couldn't have taken another photograph. I hate how it goes dark early, it's just so very inconvenient ;)

I'm also thinking about doing christmas themed jewellery, for example, charm bracelets, christmassy earrings etc. I just wondered what your thoughts were on this?

Thank you so much for reading, if you have any questions then please feel free to comment below. It'd also be great if you could give me feedback about the christmas themed jewellery!
