Sigma Cleansing & Polishing Tool

My boyfriend bought me the Sigma Cleansing & Polishing tool for my birthday and I have to say that I was so excited to try it! I had seen so many good reviews about the cleansing and polishing tool so was eager to try it. I was so thrilled when I found out he had bought me this! :)

I thought I would do a review on this lovely product, so here it is!

Here's what the box looks like...

I absolutely love the box! It's fun, quirky and best of all...PINK! I love the stripey design and I think the colours fit in well with the product. I like how Sigma have kept with the pink theme, it's ace!

Back of the box...

This might seem like a load of waffle to some people but I think it's great how Sigma have fully explained the concept and purpose of the cleansing & polishing tool. I like how the information is displayed in a fancy swirly box too!

On the sides of the box...

Leaflet...

It's great how the tool comes with a handy leaflet explaining what to do. It's a very informative leaflet too which I think is very good. The use of pictures on the leaflet is also fab! This leaflet is very appealing to the eye and I think this would make people read each and every word.
I find that with some instructions, they look pretty boring so I hardly ever read instructions properly but with the Sigma cleansing & polishing instructions, I read every last word!

The Sigma Cleansing & Polishing tool...

Inside...

I love how the tool is packaged. Such a sleek little box! I'm proud to have this displayed on my makeup cabinet!

The tool itself...

The tool itself is a perfect size, it's not too large and it's not too small, I think it's a nice size. It's also really light too which is great, it doesn't feel like you're holding a tin of beans. Also, because the tool is very light, it means you're able to cleanse with ease, you don't get horrific arm ache.. YAY!

I love how the tool has 2 different settings too. I always use the tool on the fastest setting as it feels like it's giving me a deep cleanse.

On the back of the tool...

I like how the 'Sigma Beauty' logo is printed on the tool itself. It looks so classy.

The 3 brush heads...

Information about the Sigma Cleansing & Polishing tool...
The Sigma cleansing & polishing tool comes with 3 different brush heads, they each have a different use:
- A pink brush head (Soft) This is ideal for sensitive skin and is recommended for daily cleansing and polishing.
- A pink and white brush head (Medium) This is recommended for daily exfoliation of normal skin.
- A white brush head (Firm) This is recommended for occasional exfoliation of normal skin.

So now I'm going to go through the instructions:
Facial Polishing -
1.) Add a small amount of your favourite facial cleanser directly to the brush head prior to appliaction.
2.) Use the soft brush head to exfoliate dead skin cells and expose a fresh healthy layer of skin.
3.) Keep your entire exfoliation process under one minute.
4.) Once your skin is polishes, proceed with the application of your favourite moisturiser and makeup.
5.) You will notice that the polishing process will help your moisturiser deeply penetrate your skin creating the perfect base for flawless makeup application.

Facial Cleansing -
1.) Remove excess makeup prior to cleansing with facial wipes containing makeup remover.
2.) Add a small amount of your favourite facial cleanser to the soft brush head and gently work it onto your skin using the cleansing and polishing tool.
3.) Keep your cleansing process under one minute.
4.) Apply your favourite moisturiser and you're ready for your beauty sleep.

Body Exfoliation -
The medium and firm brush heads are ideal for body exfoliation. Once your skin is exfoliated, proceed with the application of your favourite moisturiser or self-tanner. Even exfoliation is the secret to smooth and healthy looking skin and the perfect summer glow.

I think it's awesome how the tool comes with 3 different brush heads because you have the option of either cleansing your face, exfoliating your face or both. I'm yet to try the 'medium' and 'firm' brush heads so once I've used them I'll let you know what they're like. When I first used the tool, I chose to use the 'soft' brush head and I found this to be a little firm, it kinda felt like I was scratching my face. It wasn't an unpleasant feeling and I did get used to it in the end.

After using the tool my skin feels so soft, it's so soft that I have to keep stroking my face. My skin feels like baby skin!

Price and availability...
The Sigma Cleansing & Polishing tool retails at $39.00 and can be purchased from the Sigma website. If you live in the USA and are eager to buy this then the shipping costs will be reasonable but if you live internationally then you may find the shipping costs quite expensive. The cheapest delivery option is $18.55 (takes 8 weeks with no tracking) and the most expensive delivery option is $39.55 (takes 1-4 weeks with tracking).

I'm not sure if the Sigma cleansing & polishing tool will be released in the UK as I haven't heard any mention of it being released in the UK but if so, then my guess is that it'll be released at the end of this year. Also $39.00 works out at around £24.00 but I doubt they'll be sold at this price, again my guess is that they'll be sold at around £30.00.

Overall...
I would definitely recommend the Sigma cleansing & polishing tool to anyone. It removes all the dead skin and impurities that you may have on your face, it's also super light weight and the brush head rotates meaning every last bit of your skin gets cleansed and polished. The tool is also very very reasonably priced and I honestly think each and every one of you should invest in one, it's an amazing product!

Also, for those wanting a Clarisonic, you may as well buy this instead. It's a million times cheaper, the brush head rotates (unlike the Clarisonic brush head) and it's a lot more appealing than the Clarisonic.

I'm going to be doing an updated review in a month so I'll talk about if my skin has improved and if I have noticed any dramatic differences.

Thanks for reading! If you have any questions please feel free to comment below! :D

  4. Hi,

I sooo want this kit but getting it shipped to Pakistan would be too expensive. My uncle is going to visit Pakistan soon from UK, so I thought I might ask him to bring this for me. Can you please tell me where this kit can be bought in UK?
