I've had quite a few people telling me that I should make Youtube videos. Many of you don't know this but I do actually have a Youtube channel, I just don't use it. If any of you are wondering what my channel is then it's 'Coleyyyful'.
People have said to me that it'd be good for showing my makeup tutorials and also my nail tutorials and to be fair, I agree. It probably would be easier for you all to watch than just copy off a photograph. But saying that I'd probably find it easier copying a photo, but that's just me.
There are so many pro's and con's to Youtube but I'm constantly thinking about the con's. The biggest con being the 'haters'. I know it's ridiculous that I feel like I can't do videos due to nasty people but I really think the comments would get to me, I don't think I could cope with the criticism. I've seen so many hurtful comments on other Youtubers videos, some vile and threatening.
I guess I should just think to myself that they are nasty, spiteful people who probably either want a reaction or will just simply get a kick out of being horrible.
I'm so undecided about the whole Youtube thing, I'd just like to know all your views.
So... to Youtube or not to Youtube that is the question?
You can always give it a go, one of my fav quotes is ' don't let the fear of striking out, keep you from playing the game' haters are just losers with no confidence.

ReplyDeleteI think you should totally start doing nail art tutorials. Our students are doing nail art and we always say to them to look on you tube for more inspiration! It's a realy niche too, I mean I dont know of any other bloggers doing this
I know how you feel about haters though, I feel the same but I am hoping to start up my own channel in the summer when I'm off work
