I've seen a lot of hype about the Collection 2000 lasting perfection concealer so I thought I'd give it a go. The concealer retails at £4.19 and it is available in 4 different shades; Fair, Light, Medium, Deep. There isn't a vast selection of shades, so I doubt this concealer will suit everybody. I picked up the shade 'Fair', I'd say it is probably a little dark for me but it's not so obvious that I look like a tangerine. If you have a very pale skin tone, then I'd recommend getting 'Fair'. The shades are quite misleading as they look paler in the tube, you have to swatch these because you'll probably end up getting the wrong shade if you don't.
The concealer is meant to last 16 hours, I don't think I've ever worn my makeup for more than 10 hours so it's hard to say if this does last 16 hours. I have no doubt that this does last 16 hours because the formulation and consistency of the concealer is excellent, it's smooth, thick and creamy.
The concealer is a full coverage concealer so it's perfect for hiding any imperfections, i.e. blemishes and dark circles. It is recommended to blend the concealer using either a finger or brush, if you don't blend in the concealer, then it may end up looking a bit cakey.
Here's the concealer...
I'd say this concealer would suit any skin type, especially those of you who suffer from oily skin as the concealer is oil free. You only need to use a little bit of the concealer too which is great!
Overall it's a great concealer and I'd say that it was better than some high end concealers. It's creamy, long lasting and hides my blemishes well! I will definitely re-purchase!
