Sleek Monaco i-Divine Palette

After waiting patiently for a week, I finally received my Sleek Monaco i-Divine palette. I was so excited when Sleek launched the Mediterranean collection and I especially couldn't wait to get my hands on the Monaco i-Divine palette. I didn't buy the Santorini blush or the Monti Carlo pout polish as I thought the blush was a little too bright for my liking and I'm also more of a lipstick girl than a gloss girl.

My first impressions of the Monaco palette were 'wow', the colours are unbelievably gorgeous. The palette consists of mostly matte eyeshadows with the exception of a few shimmer eyeshadows. I don't think I've ever used a Sleek matte eyeshadow so it'll be interesting to see how they compare to my other matte eyeshadows.

I really love the Monaco i-Divine packaging, it looks nice and fits in well with the collection. It really does remind you of summer which is a good thing.
I think the packaging is definitely a positive thing, it's just a shame Sleek didn't create funky packaging when the brand first launched. I personally find it more appealing and I think the majority of people would be more inclined to buy it.

I also love how the collection name is printed on the front of the palette, this will be so much easier when browsing through my Sleek palettes.

The eyeshadows have names, I prefer it when eyeshadows have names rather than numbers as it gives the eyeshadows a little more character.

Top Row: From left to right: Bamboo, Aquamarine, Midnight, Garden, Sunset, Washed Ashore, Magenta Madness.
Bottom Row: From left to right: Summer Breeze, Sand Stalker, Kiwi Zest, Lotus Flower, Humming Bird, Moors Treasure.

So far so good, I'm particularly impressed with 'Kiwi Zest', 'Lotus Flower' and 'Humming Bird' as they seem to have the greatest pigmentation. The only eyeshadow I'd say wasn't too great was 'Bamboo', no matter how many swipes I did, this would not swatch at all, hopefully it'll be a different story when applying it to my eyes.

I cannot fully review this palette yet as I haven't used it but since I received it today, I thought I'd do some swatches for you all. I'm going to use this palette tomorrow and I'll be testing the matte eyeshadows and also the troublesome 'Bamboo'. I shall do a Sleek update post tomorrow so keep a look out!

  3. The only thing i hate about this pallet is the pattern on the shadows.
I got given a reallly cheap eyeshadow pallet ages ago that was so awful and cheap that it just left my eyes stinging and left red marks on my eyelids.
I think it kind of cheapens the look of it =/
But from the swatches they are very well pigmented and I also look forward to seeing what looks you come up with
